It is with a heavy heart that I announce the closing of GetWebSpace.com.

I started GetWebSpace.com 13 years ago - WOW! But now, career choices and other commitments are leading me out of the website hosting industry. You are more than an "asset" to me and for that reason, I am not quietly selling my business ("you") to another company. However, I do want to ensure a smooth transition, so I have worked out an easy transfer path.

I have arranged a deal for you with HostGator (a worthy competitor of many years). Their plans meet or beat your current plan, and they even use the same Control Panel software. This means moving your site will be painless. I have been hosting my own websites with them for several months in preparation for this transition. Further, if you sign up with HostGator, I will personally help you move your site, and can save you up to 25% in the process.

You are of course not obligated to use HostGator. Your site and domain are your property and can be taken to any host. Either way, ALL sites MUST be transferred to a new provider BY JANUARY 31st or they will be taken offline!
